Beach Love

On Sunday, we spent some time with friends at their beach house. It was a beautiful day. Sam had a blast playing in the sand, making new friends, and working on some serious sand castle walls with daddy.

Adept to all things physical, below is a shot of Sam and his "wind up" using sand...his lessons from bambino baseball must have been the influence here:

Shinn Dig

Last week, we spent a few days at "camp" with the Shinn family. Sam had an opportunity to play with lots of girls and I think he loved it. Isabella, on the other hand, was not such a happy camper. See the evidence below:

Father's Day Fun

Brad cannot submit any complaints regarding his father's day. Why? Well, let me tell you...First, Sam and I made him chocolate chip scones for breakfast. Second, Tio Brandon made him mouth-watering coffee. Third, we had a BBQ with the Shinn and Sandoval families. 'Twas lots-o-fun. There was food, fun, and dancing. There were also special performances put on by the mothers and fathers in attendance. I was forbidden, however, to put up the hilarious video of Brad, Nate, and Art singing and dancing to "I'm to Sexy" and "The Humpty Dance" because they are professional lawyers. Balderdash. If you want a copy of said video, call me at 1-800-BLK-Mail or email me at cathy@blkmail.com.

STILL a Rockstar

Yesterday, I took Izzy to her 6 month check up. She continues to be in wonderful health and is still off the charts. She now weighs 20.1 lbs. and is 28 inches long. We have one healthy baby girl on our hands and we're incredible lucky. Below is a snapshot of Izzy's eating habits...she likes to be double-fisted at all times. Hmmmm, perhaps this explains her muffin top?

That green stuff on her face would be organic green beans or maybe peas...I don't remember, actually, but I do know she loves her veggies.

Fireman or rainmaker? You decide.

There are multiple things that make Sam extremely happy...control of the water hose, however, is, by far, one of his greatest pleasures.
