Kung Fu Fighter

Sam started Taekwondo class back in early September. He's pretty good at it and he likes knowing he can hurt somebody if they mess with him. Here he is at practice:




Izzy's job during class is to stand at the end of the room and be the "hand check" girl. She gets to put her arms out and the boys have to do various excercises to reach her, give her a high five, and then head back tot he wall. She loves it.



About two weeks ago, Sam had his first TKD test.

Here he is with his buddies Cameron and Ben.....

We're not a very competetive family.

We have one member, however, that likes to outperform others in the group.

She's 35lbs., 33in., and likes to do whatever her brother does even when she has no idea what she's doing.

Conversations with Mr. Big Stuff

On the way back from school on Thursday, Mr. Big Stuff and I had the following conversation:

MBS: Mami, I think you should get me a phone.
Me: (surprised) Really? What for?
MBS: So I can call my friends.
Me: Oh. Well, what if you're friends don't have a phone?
MBS: Ummmm, you're right.
Me: Yeah.
MBS: Well, I could always call their mommies.
Me: Why would you call them?
MBS: To set up my own play dates.
Me: I see. Well, I'm going to think about it, ok?

First Grade-Day 1
