4th of July Fun

We had a very relaxing 4th of July....Sam went hiking with Daddy at 7am, I did lots of laundry for our pending trip, Isabella had a tough day sleeping, and I haven't finished packing. Good times. Despite our morning, our day ended on a high note with the Levine family and their tasty BBQ. Yummy.

If you're wondering why the babes are not looking at the camera, it's because they were focusing on their older brothers.....

Apparently, Wyatt adores water hoses as much as Sam.
(A special thanks goes out to Grandma Cindy for the pictures!)

King Tut

Today, we went to the de Young museum in San Francisco to view the exhibit of King Tut. It was absolutely amazing to see the artifacts discovered in 1922. What was even more mesmerizing was the fact that all of those artifacts were over 3,000 years old. Crazy. I would have taken many more pictures but I was afraid the curses protecting the tomb of King Tut would have gone into effect. Who needs that problem, right? Right. Instead, you get these funny pictures of a stone sculpture with a hole in it that the ladies Shinn and Sam found a good use for:

Beach Love

On Sunday, we spent some time with friends at their beach house. It was a beautiful day. Sam had a blast playing in the sand, making new friends, and working on some serious sand castle walls with daddy.

Adept to all things physical, below is a shot of Sam and his "wind up" using sand...his lessons from bambino baseball must have been the influence here:

Shinn Dig

Last week, we spent a few days at "camp" with the Shinn family. Sam had an opportunity to play with lots of girls and I think he loved it. Isabella, on the other hand, was not such a happy camper. See the evidence below:

Father's Day Fun

Brad cannot submit any complaints regarding his father's day. Why? Well, let me tell you...First, Sam and I made him chocolate chip scones for breakfast. Second, Tio Brandon made him mouth-watering coffee. Third, we had a BBQ with the Shinn and Sandoval families. 'Twas lots-o-fun. There was food, fun, and dancing. There were also special performances put on by the mothers and fathers in attendance. I was forbidden, however, to put up the hilarious video of Brad, Nate, and Art singing and dancing to "I'm to Sexy" and "The Humpty Dance" because they are professional lawyers. Balderdash.
