Candids

My children are funny...not as funny as me but still pretty funny.

Here are a few thier antics:

I'm not sure why Izzy's sleeping buddy, Peanut, ended up in the refrigerator but I'm sure she had a good reason for doing this. Perhaps she needed him to guard the milk?

Since Izzy loves her brother, she feels compelled to "borrow" his things. Please note the slippers in the picture below:

Despite Abuelita's 92 years of age, she's a pretty funny lady herself. When she came over to visit for Izzy's birthday, she donned Sam's Star Wars apron for fun:

Last, here is the mischievous two-year old in her holiday garb:

Love Notes from Sam

Izzy and I are pretty lucky ladies-

Celebrating the Big "Two"

We don't know where the time went but Izzy turned two years old back in December. She continues to surprise us everyday. Her vocabulary is amazing and she is one feisty little girl. She's definitely not going to be bossed around by anybody when she gets to go to school. No way. I'm guessing she'll be calling the shots-it's what she does around our house.

A few days after her party, I took her for her two-year check up and she had the following stats:

Height: 35.5 inches = 90th percentile
Weight: 32 lbs. = 95th percentile
Head circumference = 49.2 cm = 90th percentile

So, basically, she's a genius and is a huge two-year old. We make 'em big and smart over in the Marsh household.

We celebrated with family and our closest family friends......

She awoke to balloons in her room and her brother climbing in her crib:

After some family time, she hit up a game of dominoes with her favorite Abuelita:

It was time for cake and so we brought out Minnie Mouse:

Sometime after the cake but before gifts, Izzy birthday party turned into a pint-sized version of MTV's Jersey Shore. I have no idea why the boys took their shirts off but I'm sure the twenty-somethings over in Jersey do not like the competition:

Christmas Traditions

The Marsh family has decided to adopt a new Christmas tradition: feeding the reindeer on Christmas Eve.

Enjoy the video.

And, remember, I am the athlete in the family.
