Welcome back, Jesus!

In addition to the Lord Jesus Christ rising today, Sam was born. God works in amazing ways...Easter and his birthday celebration brought lots-o-fun...and chocolate candy. Sam beat the Easter bunny to the punch with a 4:30 AM wake-up call. The Easter bunny was NOT happy about this but the birthday bird kept her in check. By 7:30 am, we had opened birthday presents, went on an Easter egg hunt, and ate several pieces of Hershey's chocolate kisses and M&M's (the large Easter version). My mom and I decided to don our Easter outfits and take the kids to church. It was a very successful trip despite Sam saying over and over during mass "Where is God? Is he over there...in that little house? That's not a very big place, Mami. Oh, is he the one on that wood thing? " Everyone around us was cracking up.

After dinner, we cut yet another cake for Sam and feasted on more chocolate. I think Sam has consumed more sugar today than his entire four years of life. Amen.
