This past weekend, Papa Bear and I had our first weekend away, sans children. The last time we left the house without our children was way back when, when, when....oh, I don't even remember. It's been years. This visit to Carmel was really me crashing his nerdy tax attorney conference. The good things is that other wives crashed the conference as well. I guess great minds think alike. Basically, I slept in and wandered on the beach.

The trip lasted 36 hours but it was well worth it. Meanwhile, back at the ranch.....
