Lessons Learned on Easter Sunday

1. Either the Easter Bunny or God makes children wake up earlier than they should.
2. Children will argue with you verbally and physically when putting on their special Easter clothes, causing frustration on what should be a frustration-less day.
3. A rainy Easter sucks for egg hunts as well as eating out because after arguing about putting on their special Easter outfits, now they will get ruined by the rain and you can't hunt for eggs outside.
4. If you don't take your kids to church often, you find yourself praying they behave.
5. Despite being in church for almost an hour and a half, you will have little recollection of what was said the entire time.
5. Snacks in church can be noisy.
6. You should make mimosas before going to church...it'll make everything better.
